Thursday & Friday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 5:00pm.
Open by appt only Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday until May 1st, 2025.

After May 1st, 2025, Museum & Gift Shop Hours:
Open 7 days.
Monday - Friday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am - 5:00pm


CLOSED Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's Day.


We welcome all service animals and leashed pets in the museum.
Service animals are only permitted inside the Tin Goose Diner, but we do welcome all leashed pets on our patio!
We are also handicap accessible throughout our entire facility!
We are located all on one level with no stairs!

The Liberty Aviation Museum offers a unique educational experience, welcoming students & adults of all ages to visit us and experience history.
The museum provides a rare opportunity to take learning out of the classroom and into our 80,000 sq. ft. complex. The museum features 2 galleries, 2 hangars, a conference room, a 1950's vintage diner, & a boathouse along with a 3rd hangar being built currently. (Our complex is soon to be 100,000 sq. ft. by Dec 2025.)

The Liberty Aviation Museum features:

- WWII American & German Military Vehicles

And the best part is that the majority of our aircraft, vehicles, and tanks are operational during the Spring - Fall seasons during special events!
At times during the season, groups can also take flights in visiting aircraft or helicopters or the museum owned & operated historic 1928 Ford Tri-Motor "City of Wichita"/"City of Port Clinton"! Group rates are available for 10 or more for the Tri-Motor rides!

Docent-guided and self-guided tours are available. The tour lasts about 2 hours depending on a group's time schedules.
Complimentary admission for the school/tour bus driver & educator or tour director guide with tour company.

Tuskegee Airman Harold H. Brown Memorial
Scholarship





The Liberty Aviation Museum, located in Port Clinton, Ohio, has an opportunity for you to honor one of the most important and influential men in the military and education, Lt. Col. Harold H. Brown. As one of the Tuskegee Airmen, Harold H. Brown made history as a combat pilot during World War II. He was not only an airman, but also as an educator; one of the fathers of the two-year college option, giving young students new confidence toward stellar careers. Harold passed away in 2023 at the age of 98, but his legacy lives on.
Now, The Liberty Aviation Museum and you have the honor and opportunity to help preserve Harold's legacy by donating to the Harold H. Brown Tuskegee Airman Memorial Scholarship.

When you visit the Liberty Aviation Museum, you will see one of many unique items from Hollywood! We have the Hogan's Heroes TV Show uniform & prop collection on display as well as Clark Gable's WWII service uniform, Alan Alda's robe from the TV series, M*A*S*H , a replica of The Andy Griffith Show police car, Lt. Dan's (Gary Sinise) military helmet from the movie Forrest Gump , a chair from the movie Casablanca , & more!

When visiting the museum, be sure to dine at this fully restored, vintage 1950's Tin Goose Diner. All proceeds from this diner help fund the operation of the Liberty Aviation Museum.
